Dr. Penelope Velasco is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for women at every stage of life. She offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, from routine preventive care to pregnancy and delivery, and is committed to helping her patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Dr. Velasco earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. With many years of experience serving diverse communities throughout Los Angeles County, Dr. Velasco is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and remains committed to delivering high-quality care to her patients.
